Best format for turn-by-turn directions on modern Garmin Edge Devices
Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.
Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.

Went on a solo ride today. The weather was warmer than the last ride, but comfortable. The wind was coming from the South this time, so I had a headwind on the way back up from Keene. My primary concern about today's ride was my right calve muscle. From the first few miles, to the beginning of the descent, I could tell that my leg was feeling good. Being that there was a tailwind on the way down, I reached the bottom a little faster. The wind was actually turbulent, and was reversed when I got about 1 mile from the bottom. So I was able to start a little faster than usual up the first part of the Ascent. Afterwhich, I settled into a steady tempo. Concentration was good, but some lapses here and there. Balance was pretty good today. By the time I was at the top of the ascent, I was spent. Of course, like any other headwind, it felt like I was climbing with another 2 percent gradient. Ailments, tingling in the hands, a little soreness in the ack. Both of which, I was able to remedy by shaking my hands and changing saddle positions. Bike is working well, but I noticed that there is a little creaking noise, both standing and in the saddle. I'm not sure what it is, but I suspect it may be the wheel (needing retensioning), or the pedal needing some cleaning. GPS was working great, HR strap is reading perfectly. Gopro is working perfectly, no problems since I received it.
