(recalling) Went for a solo ride in the afternoon. The weather was the coldest since the beginning of summer. Wind was from the north. I felt good the whole way. Mostly cruising on the way out and flooring it on the way back. After the first mile, I realized that I hadn't fed enough before the ride. I should have had at least 2 cups of gatorade or something. I fed around 10am, so that's few hours prior to the beginning of the ride. Fortunately I decided to bring a power bar in case I wanted to do the tripple SS ride. I ended up doing the single and eating the Power bar a little bit after 1 hr into the ride. I felt the difference immediately. Ok, so ailments... none, just some minor tingling in the right hand. GPS working good, of course no HR. But I got the HR strap on the same day and it seems to be in good working order. Will have a chance to try it out for the first time on Monday's ride. Gopro is a no go! They botched the RMA, will hope to get it before the Spooktakular ride. Concentration was good, a little lapse here and there, no biggy. Balance was, maybe, a little off from the previous ride. Again, no biggy. I bought more power bars and inner tubes from Nashbar, hope to get that next week.
