SO nice, the conference organizer invited me to stay at their house last night. And we had a great visit this morning. I loved this route home. Either yesterday or today I completed mine 1000 miles for the July Trek challenge! I think it was yesterday actually so today should be bonus. I also enjoyed the bike trails through Eugene, and seeing the sign boards about the Eugene Millrace! I had no idea that so much industry took place on that river, harnessing its power, between the mid- to late-1800s, It was fascinating. 94° and rising by the time I arrived home close to 2:30. I dallied a bunch along the way. Texts, photos, phone call. Oh yes, and I left at 8:30 instead of 6:30 because I was enjoying visiting with Tracy🤗. Just two blocks from home I started feeling my back tire doing some thing funny. This is what I found when I got home! (photo) Don’t know if this is tire or tube, I suspect tube. I am extremely grateful it waited till I was in my own neighborhood!
