Went by the boro hall and paid the real estate taxes for the quarter, then rode down to the battlefield at National Park, NJ to see the archeological dig where a Hessian mass grave was recently uncovered, as covered in this morning's Inquirer. Didn't get pics of the dig because I didn't want to wait in line with my bike. Along the way, near US 130 there was a road closure for a major repair under the freeway coming off the Walt Whitman bridge. I picked my way thru walking the bike, but it was only passable because the workmen were sitting in their pickups eating lunch. Kid on a bike outside Heritage's asked me if I had seen a yellow mountain bike. I said No. He said It was stolen out of his shed. I said I better watch my bike out front of the store. He agreed. Hot day, but still a good one for riding. Solo on the Spesh.
