100 mile route to Tsuru and back. Out on Route 413 (heavy traffic). Up and over the ridgeline and returning on Route 35. Nice road.

Best format for turn-by-turn directions on modern Garmin Edge Devices
Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.
Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.
Estimated Time shows a prediction of how long it would take you to ride a given route. This number is based on your recent riding history, and represents an estimate of moving time. Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.

Route 57 to 54 - Started at 5:30. Few cars. Good rode. Made good time.
Aikawa to 64 - tried using 54 instead of 412. Didn't like it. 54 seems just as busy as 412 and I couldn't find
...easy way to 64. So used 412 to small road going by Hattori farms... then to the road that goes along the north edge of Lake Miyagase. *not recommended.
*Safety note. Tunnels on this road are really badly lit. Dark as night in places. Either take a light or be very very careful. Plus, on return, the racers use this as race track. Not good!!
...64 to 413 - nice bit of road.
413 to 24 - 413 is pretty busy . Mostly good separation and room for cars/trucks, but do need to be careful and watchful.
24 to Tsuru - few cars, nice road, but a pretty significant climb till over the pass. Once over, nice downhill.
Route 35 - not so many cars, decent road
Route 35 to 517 - tried this connecting route but it is through very small town with hard to follow/not obvious turns. Very small roads. Not advisable. Lost time.
517 - 518 OK
518 - OK - not much traffic
64 to north of lake Miyagase road - terrible - racers- tunnels - no lights
Hattori farm to Zama - once you get on the south side of the river, the road is very nice. Until then, it is heavily traveled, narrow roads. Not good.
Once you cross the river again and headed to Zama, it's city traffic. Not my cup of tea.
Got out at Zama and rinko'd my way back home.
