Afternoon Dirtment

Hadn't been this way in a coupla months, apparently, since some of the trails -- admittedly very underused and low trafficked -- were very overgrown. And the county completely rearranged some trail at the tree farm (1.1 to 1.3), moving long established trail out of the middle of a field and planting some raggedy corn that did not do well.

Some puddles here and there, a little mud, but not too bad for the previous two wet days. As usual, this route is a mix of pavement and dirt, mostly dirt, but pavement required to get from trail to trail.

Felt good -- would have preferred to ride yesterday, but rain put a stop to that. Legs were strong; breathing good; heart rate good.

    Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.

  • TCX History

    Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.

  • GPX Track (.gpx)

    Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.
