TT#28 - 2022 Sep 16

On a very comfortable midday ride, Tammy and I drove to 7 Mile Cycles to pick up my bicycle, now outfitted with new tires and tubes. Then, Tammy drove and I rode to the parking lot on Higgins Road nearest Arlington Heights Road. We then rode multiple times through the wooded section between the Elk Grove and the far bridge over Higgins Road. Tammy drove away and I rode home. I started riding at 11:10 a.m., left the loop for home at 1:02, and returned home at 2:01 p.m. Skies were partly cloudy with a temperature of 77 - 80 with light S winds. I wore shorts, short sleeve jersey (La Vie Claire), and regular gloves.

  • TCX Course

    Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.

  • TCX History

    Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.

  • GPX Track (.gpx)

    Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.
