This morning started out on the slow side of things, took down the wrong bike, couldn't find my cap that I put out last night,then started the ride forgot to put the power meter batteries in and had to go back to get the batteries, now I'm running late so I had to ride much faster than I wanted to. Had front and rear brake rub, attempted to fix it when I got to Albert, only partially fixed it. It got worse so we stopped at a WaWa, fixed the front and thought back was also fixed, not! A great idea came to me... loosen up the brake release! Did I say it was really cold and windy? Well, it was! I have this issue, when it is cold or I get cold, I need to take a leak, lots of them! It is nice to be back on the Tarmac, now that I got the bike dialed in it is so smooth and fast. My back went out a few days ago, can barely walk so I thought I might have some problems riding... I was surprised it didn't bother me the first half after that it was a different story, the wind didn't help either. It was actually a nice day to ride even with all the issues. Best format for turn-by-turn directions on modern Garmin Edge Devices
Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.
Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.
Estimated Time shows a prediction of how long it would take you to ride a given route. This number is based on your recent riding history, and represents an estimate of moving time. Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.
