Estimated Time shows a prediction of how long it would take you to ride a given route. This number is based on your recent riding history, and represents an estimate of moving time. Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.

I was able to get out in the afternoon today. The weather was much better than the last time. It was in the low 40's, so that meant full gear. It was a little cold on the way out, as I was getting warmed up. The downhill was into the headwind, so that made it seem colder. Fortunately I got it right. I wore my face mask and that seemed to make a big difference. The only thing that got cold were my arms, but that was nowhere near unbearable. The return trip was much warmer as was anticipated. But, I kept my gear on, except for the facemask, which was around my neck. I actually had to open my jacket a little. I did real modest tempo as I had planned. There were pretty much no ailments, but that was to be expected at this pace. Concentration was good, but shady at moments. I had to contiuously encourage myself to stay focused. Balance was good today, I think the stretching on my off days is making a big difference. GPS has been having some issues. It wasn't picking up the HR monitor, and it had very little charge remaining after about 1hr of riding. This happened on the previous ride, so the only thing that was the same was the cold weather. Gopro worked great, tail light as well. Bike was making clicking noises now and again. It sounded like the rear magnet was clipping the sensor, but I can't be sure. It's been doing this, I think, for a few rides now.
