Best format for turn-by-turn directions on modern Garmin Edge Devices
Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.
Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.

Went riding at 1pm, had lab work today. The weather was cold, but by the time I got out, it had warmed up about 5 degrees or so. I wore full gear except, no jacket, full gloves, or shoe covers. I felt comfortable most of the way. So, I did modest tempo today, pretty much the whole ride. I did 3 good digs at Banducci wall, SS, and Cummings Valley road last kicker. Ailments, left calve was a little over banducci and on the way back. It only lasted a minute or two. Concentration was ok, but shady on a few places. I didn't feel 100% today. Balance was good, a little off on the last kicke, but other than that, no problems. GPS, HR didn't work till somewhere near Banducci. Gopro, recorded to battery depletion (1:52 hrs).
Forgot to mention, the GPS lasted the whole ride, no low battery warnings...
