Dundalk to Drogheda along Coast

I went to Dundalk by train and then set off from there . But beforehand I prepared the ride by setting it into the hammerhead. This really has its advantages as otherwise I would be stopping every few KM to see would I take a turn , only to discover that it was a dead end. But this way I had it all decided beforehand and I had much more flow in the ride and much smoother. I was warned that it would be bit wet in the afternoon but I got the train in Drogheda at about 4PM and at that time it had not really rained . It was a really great ride and Termonfeckin and Annagassen and Clogherhead were beautiful little sea towns . I might even do that ride a few times . But it was a bit windy particularly near Drogheda.I took one wrong turn and that was just outside T/feckin .

    Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.

  • TCX History

    Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.

  • GPX Track (.gpx)

    Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.
