... and wet slippery, brightly colored ones, and wet roots, and wet rocks. The weather finally let up a little bit and while it wasn't particularly rainy, it was wet and damp for DAYS. But warm, like, finally making up for all that really cool weather in September and early October. Still, fun solo ride in the woods with LOTS of color. It was a carpet in spots and it was a good thing the trail was familiar. Oh here comes that big root that I can't see right now, and look, that rock garden that's completely covered. Trail was damp, wet in spots, but not generally muddy. A few mudholes here and there but really very good. Started early enough to finish well within daylight, for the win. Bailed to the road instead going back through the Ag History Farm because why not. Something a little different.
