Local Mixed Surface Trail Ride 11-10-22

Checkpoint. Mostly sunny, warm - in the low 70's and high 60's, pretty stout South winds @ 18 mph with gusts up to 25 mph. Beautiful day in spite of the wind. Great to be wearing Summer kit in the middle of November. We're supposed to have near freezing temps starting tomorrow so this was a blessing.

Local neighborhood trails and roads until I got to Wayne, then on the Prairie Path. Much of it was protected from the winds but some of it was full on into it. Saw a few people out, mostly walkers. Fifth day in a row riding (143 miles), so tomorrow will be an off day. Passed over 8,000 miles ytd.

    Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.

  • TCX History

    Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.

  • GPX Track (.gpx)

    Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.
