What's this? Another late-November day with temps in the mid-50s? And Schaeffer Farm is closing for the winter this weekend? Well let's go ride while we can. From Mark's house, made it a point to go in the opposite direction of the "usual" routes. Every one of these trails we typically ride in the other direction because reasons. And sure enough, that caused the time-space continuum to grant us an extra hour in the day. Light rain earlier in the day but trails were damp, not muddy. Worst bits were leaves in certain flat areas that were holding water. Lovely day to be out after a gray, drizzly morning. Not quite shirtsleeves but shorts and two layers were plenty. Long-term forecasts suggest the extended fall may be coming to an end late next week.... boooo
