So far I've ridden every day of the year ... the warm-ish spell continues, with temps in the mid-50s in January. Pavement was damp in a lot of places after Saturday's rain, but otherwise conditions were great. No more mud overflows on the RCT after this year's rehab. Avoided the Georgetown mess by going farther south to Memorial Bridge and re-crossing on the Key Bridge and the weird little tunnel under the canal at mile 13.6. Climb up CCT wasn't as bad as anticipated though the trail was C R O W D E D with lots and lots of folks out strolling. Stupid bridge over River Road at 19 gave the usual off-season-out-of-shape trouble. A short wrong turn detour at 21.6 ... haven't been this way in a while and it LOOKED like the right place to turn ... Body felt good; mighta been different if we'd done another 10 ... w/Dan
