Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.
Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.
Estimated Time shows a prediction of how long it would take you to ride a given route. This number is based on your recent riding history, and represents an estimate of moving time. Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.

It's raining outside. Perfect for an indoor ride. I chose the Watopia Mountain Loop. The legs felt good to start. I was experimenting with the HR sensors. Samsung and Garmin Forerunner 45. The Garmin seemed to be the more reliable of the two. In the beginning, I had the Samsung connected to Zwift via Bluetooth, and the Garmin connected to the Edge 810 GPS. I was getting outages with the Samsung. I had to pair the devices mid way through the main climb. In the end, I used the Garmin. I was sufficiently warmed up when I reached the base of the climb. The Holo Replay feature worked today. I had a virtual ride partner based on my previous performance on the climbing segment. I was doing 3 W/kg most of the time. A bit less while in the saddle. I kept the tempo steady. I had to go into high tempo when I paired my Garmin HR sensor to Zwift. I lost about 5 to 10 seconds while doing that. It took a few minutes to catch back up to my Holo partner. I felt good overall. I set the difficulty setting to about 25%. I think that's near the sweat spot as I never ran out of gears on the steeper climbs. I put in a PB on the climb. The bonus climb was mostly steady tempo, no heroics. I was doing less than 3 W/kg most of the time. After reaching the summit, I made my way down the mountain. I was stretching a bit and fiddling a bit with the watches to diagnose why Zwift couldn't pickup the Samsung's HR signal. Never did figure it out. I kept track of time after reaching the mainland. I put in a dig through the sprint zone, using a powerup along the way. I made my way to the finish from there. I commenced the cooldown phase immediately after. I stopped at 112BPM HR. Concentration was good. The morale felt good. Gear worked perfect, except for the Samsung watch. Balance and form was good. Ailments were minimal. A bit of right knee soreness going through the sprint zone. Nutrition was good. I went through most of my Gatorade. Other notes, there were about 5000 riders on this map when I hopped on.
