Kaneville-Elva West Road Loop 12-30-22

D'Emonda. Mostly cloudy, cool and humid - 37 degrees, West winds @ 9-12 mph. It felt a lot colder than conditions would suggest, with Feels Like temps hovering around 30-32 degrees. Hard ride out West into the wind to about the halfway point at S 1st St @ Perry.

The trip out averaged 14.3 mph, finished with an average of 16.2 mph, so much faster on the return leg. This was my last ride of the year, so here's the full 2022 stats:

Total Miles: 9,035.2 (8,747.8 in 2021) - New Record
Total # Rides: 269 (252 in 2021) - New Record
Total Ride Time; 633:23 (590:02 in 2021) - New Record
Feet of Elevation Climbed: 405,100 (393,746 in 2021) - New Record
Avg Number of Days ridden per Week: 5.17 (4.85 in 2021) - New Record
Avg Feet Elevation per Ride: 1,505 (1,562 in 2021) - 2021 was PR
Avg # Miles per Ride: 33.6 (34.7 in 2021) - 2021 was PR

As long as I beat 9,035 miles in 2023, I'll be happy but I'll probably shoot for 9,500 miles.

    Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.

  • TCX History

    Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.

  • GPX Track (.gpx)

    Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.
