Twelve follow me out of Uxbridge for Sunday's long ride: Phil Hallewell, Bob Morgan, Geoff Clegg, Cliff Jones, Graham Orford, Iain MacDonald, John MacMillan, Sandra and Alan Gladwin, Lilo Bleasdale, Alan Potter and Tony Hopkins.
We head over the M25 to Iver, losing Alan G on the way, (he wants to try out his new "Fat Bike" along Coppins Lane.) The rest of us continue through Love Green and Trenches, past Stoke Poges to our coffee stop at South Bucks golf club. Surprisingly there is no Dave Peck to greet us. He must have changed his mind. After refreshments, we head off through Burnham, turning north past Cliveden and Littleworth Common, to our lunch stop at The White Hart, Beaconsfield.
We manage to bag a couple of adjacent tables, but it's still a squeeze to accommodate everyone. The service is good and the portions generous. Keeping everything on our plates with limited elbow room demands real skill, but most of us manage it. Afterwards our journey continues past Seer Green and Chalfont St Giles. The majority of us turn right at Milton's Cottage and continue south through Chalfont Grove. We are reunited with those that didn't, at Jungs cafe, Gerrards Cross.
By the time we reach Denham I have lost most of my troop. This time it is not carelessness on my part. Just three of us take the scenic route through the golf course and onwards to Uxbridge.

Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.
Estimated Time shows a prediction of how long it would take you to ride a given route. This number is based on your recent riding history, and represents an estimate of moving time. Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.Go Premium
