Based on "Concord the Long Way" at http://blayleys.blogspot.com/p/routes.html . Nice scenic routing out of Lexington and through Carlisle and into Concord. I lunched a couple blocks offroute down Thoreau St at New London Style Pizza after calling in my order in advance. Next time may try Sorrento's across the street. The final 25 miles started not long before sunset, and the route dodged most of the rush hour traffic that was happening around me, mostly on other roads or coming toward me (not from behind me) on the roads I traveled. It was fun to take Sudbury-Concord-Pantry-Haynes-Marlboro and then go somewhere other than where I usually go after that sequence. I went off route to use Tower Rd instead of Lincoln St to make the northward journey; Tower was very lightly trafficed as I had hoped.
