6 of us set out to the Royal Standard at Wooburn Common.
Bernie 'the bolt' Green, Bob Morgan, John Owen, Alan Potter, Cliff Jones & John Malkovich.
A rather cold start but bright blue skies held the promise of warmer temperatures to follow.
The 11s stop at Chalfont St Giles was reached using the most roundabout obscure route that I was able to muster via Harefield, Mill End and Heronsgate.
The lunch stop was reached using a more direct route via Seer Green and Beaconsfield.
The Royal Standard was very busy and we were lucky to get a table (I had not pre-booked this time). Food was good and the porter excellent. Cliff was also impressed with the cider.
The return journey took in Burnham beaches, Fulmer & Iver heath. There was a unofficial tea stop/post ride debriefing stop at the Uxbridge Wetherspoons where the elite members of the ride (3 of us) took the last break of the day.

Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.
Estimated Time shows a prediction of how long it would take you to ride a given route. This number is based on your recent riding history, and represents an estimate of moving time. Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.Go Premium
