The yearly GABA Mt Lemmon hill climb! My first time to do it with this club. Fun times, great SAGs, good food. Oh the tamales and sandwiches were at a SAG along the way and NOT at the bottom. Some how I missed that memo. But waited around long enough I did get a couple slices of the sub sandwich. Oh 3-cans of Squirt consumed! 1 at a SAG and 2 at the bottom! Yum. Great weather. Going up it was cold in the shade as I was sweaty. I carried a light wind breaker for the descent but never put it on. I did a site-seeing climb up. I stopped at the first 2 SAGs. Only worked between the 2nd Sag and 3rd Sag which I also skipped. The Pie Sag is 2.7 miles from the Iron Door which was the turn-around so I went to Iron Door and then to the pie sag. There I met a number of WVC, Lisa, Nickie, Dan, Josh, and a couple more. Yes it was pricey but fun and for a good cause. I think the other WVC riders just rode and were not part of the GABA.
