WVC Recovery - LP Explore

Nice easy pace today. Waited until the Verrado Rd to Freeway overpass to do anything! Did a fast spin to top. Then matched up with a Derrick up Verrado to the stop sign. Then again up Lost Dog to Verrado with Kirk chasing me!. Another little push up to the turn onto Tiger Mtn.

Then for the descent! Tried to position myself near the front, but was not aggressive enough. I had to then expend a bunch energy from when we turned south on Jackrabbit until we go to Camelback before I caught the lead group and then went to the lead. By that time, it was way too long for me to hold it. They passed me in the last 1/2 mile.

I can't do the long 1/2 mile surge to Camelback and another 1.0 miles to Indian! Need to time that better! Stay with the pack on turn onto Jackrabbit and follow someone to Camelback!

Then rode slowly around LP area to explore.
