Estimated Time shows a prediction of how long it would take you to ride a given route. This number is based on your recent riding history, and represents an estimate of moving time. Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.

Today was a great day to go riding, with one exception. I woke up to a sore eye. It's one of those things that happens maybe 2 or 3 times a year. It was hurting real bad, and I had to constantly wash it out with water for about 4 hours. I couldn't hop on the computer cause that made my eye worse. Today was my ride day, so I had to decide either to go or not to go, based on my ailment. At around 1pm, it was looking like I wasn't going to go. But then in the next hour, my eye started to feel a little better. So, I decided to go for it. The winds were very unusual today, but in a good way. I had a tail wind for most of the way back. But as I was entering the last 2 miles of the descent, the wind changed direction. When I reached the bottom and turned around, the winds continued to be at my back. I think I was just at the edge of the wind front that changed directions. I was able to do real good tempo on the way back. I did some good intervals for most of the ride. Other than my eye, everything was ok. But, my left lower leg and foot felt a little numb, I'm not sure what it was though. I remember having numb feet before, so maybe it's the same thing. A symptom when pushing the body to the limit. My concntration was good, but I had to give myself a kick in the pants a few times to get my focus back. Balance was good. Gear worked perfect. I contacted Garmin about the GPS and they said it can be replaced for about $110. Will take them up on that offer, but will have to wait till next month.
