730 am start from Champoeg Visitor Center. Marine layer was in the process of spreading inland. Started partly cloudy, but by 8 am or so skies had become overcast. Light south to southwest wind going out, which made the ride to Willamette Mission Park just a little harder. Rode through the park, past the Wheatland Ferry, then a half mile on Matheny Rd to the intersection of River Rd NE. Turned left (north) on River Road and continued to Newsom's Farm, rest stop for the Monster Cookie. Veered left to stay on River Rd then continued 8.1 miles to St. Paul. Generally a light tail wind on part of the stretch. Rode parallel to the Willamette River on Riverside Drive for 4.5 miles. The final 3 miles were on Champoeg Rd back to the park.
