This is an alternate version of the Rinter Bridge/Wine Country Loop. Begin from Independence City Park along the Willamette River. Ride west through Monmouth to Highway 194. This highway is a 7 mile stretch with a long, gradual climb early on and another shorter climb toward the end. At Kings Valley Highway, go left for a 13.5 mile segment through Pedee and Kings Valley. At mile 21 is the Rinter covered bridge, which makes for a nice rest stop. After going through Kings Valley and beyond for another 0.7 miles, turn left onto Maxfield Creek Rd. This is a 7.2 mile segment. The first 2.7 miles is a very gradual climb, followed by a couple miles of flat and then a couple miles of descent. Maxfield Creek Rd comes out at Arlie Rd (mile 31.2). Turn right onto Arlie Rd for a 5.8 mile spin to Highway 99W. Cross 99W, which becomes Suver Rd. Continue for 1.5 miles to Corvallis Rd. Go right, or south, for 2.5 miles to Springhill Rd. Veer left onto Springhill Rd and then go left onto Buena Vista Rd. This road goes by the Luckiamute Natural Area. At mile 46.1 turn left onto Prather Rd. This comes out at Corvallis Rd. The final 6 miles consists of a couple gradual climbs, a nice downhill then a 2.5 mile flat back to the park.

Estimated Time shows a prediction of how long it would take you to ride a given route. This number is based on your recent riding history, and represents an estimate of moving time. Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.
