Gina Jones Beach

If I didn’t know better, I’d say the Gina’s trying to bring me to an untimely death! In what continues to be unrelentingly beastly conditions, with high temps and even higher humidities, my better half set a pace that almost had me passing out from heat stroke at the conclusion of this very spirited but overly strenuous ride given the challenging conditions.

For some reason, even with the steady SSW winds of 10-15, there was pecious little cooling to be had with the onshore flow. The poor air quality, which had me wheezing to some degree, added to the challenge of today’s effort.

Nonetheless, it was pure pleasure to be riding with Gina. That girl really knows how to handle a bike!!
