Was going to ride at 5pm but it was too hot for me so I did a few things to pass the time that took longer than I expected. My legs were still very sore and feeling weak so I decided to do and easy power Zone 1 ride. When I got about 15 miles I started to feel better so I upped the power to Zone 2 for about 13 miles then with12 miles to go I took it to Zone 3+. With about 5 miles to go I realize I had a tailwind which meant I was riding into a headwind and the middle 1/3 into a sidewind which makes sense. This adventure was another great one on one of my favorite routes. the road on parts of the ride of the ride could be improved but for the most parts are very nice. I guess what makes this ride so nice is all the changes in scenery and terrain throughout the ride and most of the ride has a decent shoulder and the parts that doesn't you are visible for some distance. The only damper on this nice ride is my lower back and left knee. I should be back on the TT bike tomorrow until 2 days before the next race on the 29th of this month this will give me plenty of time to get the TT bike race ready so I can get my sleep the night before. Best format for turn-by-turn directions on modern Garmin Edge Devices
Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.
Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.
