900 mi on SLR. Rode w Mark, Curt and Paul. Chilly morning; rode windbreaker the first 28 mi loop then left it in car and first rest stop which was also the start line.
We stayed together 90% of the time and made a nice paceline that made us one of the fastest teams out there today. 120 folks entered the event.
Race officials couldn't get permits for the last 10 mi so the race ended at about 91 miles, which was fine with me. Paul elected to do an extra 10 so he could record his first ever century. We three ate subway sandwiches.
Paul was very strong today and basically stayed with us nearly the entire time. We left him once on a 3-4 sprint up hill hooking onto a 3 man pace line that blew by us. It was great. Mark and I stayed put in the back and the 3 of them kept trying to accelerate away from us. They went form 19 mph at first and ended at 25 pmy when we hit the rest stop. The problem for them was they were down to just 1 rider. 2 of their 3 dropped off the pace and couldn't stay with Mark and I. We loved it 25 mph up hill! Highlight of the day for me.
We stopped at all 4 rest stops and ate lots. Coke, potato chips, grapes, sweet rolls. STill, I weighed 149 at the end.
It was a long ride. My body feels the effect of going from 50 milers to this 90 miler. It was a good experience that cost me $40.

Best format for turn-by-turn directions on modern Garmin Edge Devices
Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.
Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.

Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.
