Paul Douglas Preserve MTB Ride 10-01-23

Fuel EX 9.8. A little warmer, still humid, some South winds. Beautiful day and great trail conditions. Lots of other riders out, I counted at least 15 just on the trails and the parking lot was near full. I saw one small deer and had to dodge a snake on the trail.

Trail was mostly dry but still had to be careful of wet leaves on turns plus a lot of walnuts in places. I did a full loop on the lower East trails then switched over to the West trails. With forecasted conditions, these will be the best Fall days to ride.

Did a quick stop at The Assembly after the ride.

    Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.

  • TCX History

    Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.

  • GPX Track (.gpx)

    Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.
