Fillmore to Santa Paula along Mountain, up to Ojai and down the 15 mile path to Ventura, then back along Telephone and Telegraph, and then Mountain. 75 miles of scenic, easy riding. The climb up to Ojai from Santa Paula has 1300' of climbing over 8.7 miles and ends in a small, rural community called the Summit. (Get a milk shake at The Summit on your right as the road levels off; also, they sell a pitcher of filtered water for 50 cents. Alternatively, there is a general store with a rest room and groceries just a block further on the right where you might get a banana and beverage). The absolute maximum, momentary grade is 8.5%, but 7-8% is never sustained. There may be .4 miles where the average grade is about 5.8%; the overall, average grade for the 8.7 miles is only 3.4% due to regular intervals of nearly flat or short, slight downhill patches making the ride relatively easy if you take your time and it is not too hot. After crossing the short plateau, there is a nice 1 1/4 mile descent on some fun curves after which you will find yourself in the Ojai Valley. Rode with Craig, Fernando, Joe, Mark and Avi. Fernando was feeling quite poorly for the last 25 miles, but otherwise a very nice day.

Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.
Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.

Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.
