Best format for turn-by-turn directions on modern Garmin Edge Devices
Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.
Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.

First day since three rides indoors. The weather was spot on. I was hoping I'd get my new shoes before the ride. But it hasn't been delivered yet. Nevertheless, I wore my old Shimano shoes. On a comfort aspect, these shoes provide a good surrounding cushion. Perhaps skewed from having worn double socks. The ride was great. I had to shake of some demons on the first half of the ride. I felt better on the second half. The wind was in my favor, so that helped. I was able to hold good tempo for the majority of the ride. To my surprise, there were no cyclists out there. Concentration was better on the second half of the ride. Gear is working good. The bike refused to shift as I left the door, so I had about 10 minutes to figure out what was wrong. Turns out that it was the battery. Swapping out a freshly charged one did the trick. Ailments were next to none. Balance and form felt good today. Other notes... The run-off water on OTR has diminished some since the previous ride in that direction.
