Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.

Estimated Time shows a prediction of how long it would take you to ride a given route. This number is based on your recent riding history, and represents an estimate of moving time. Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.

I got out a bit early today because I had an appointment to make at 1:45. I had just enough time to go to Keene n Back. The wind was going south. I was considering going to WS, but I just didn't have the time. I made it to the base of the climb in good time. Turning around, I felt the force of the wind. It wasn't going to be a fast ascent. I put in my mind that I need to keep it steady. No point in pushing it much. The only dig I made was over the Loop Monument, I had a direct headwind, so I was pushing it. After that point I felt much better. Again, keeping the tempo nice and steady. I was nearing 150BPM +/- 10 BMP. I made it to the summit in the time I was aiming for. The remainder of the ride, was mostly recovery time. Concentration was better today than the previous ride. Minimal gremlins. Balance and form felt good. Ailments were next to none. Gear is working well. I wore the new Sidi's and they felt better today. Again, needing 3 or more rides to confirm. For the moment, the top isn't causing soreness. The ankles are slightly chafing, perhaps needing to break them in a bit more will do. Other notes, no other cyclists today.
