Paul Douglas Preserve MTB Ride 11-12-23

Fuel EX 9.8. Mostly sunny, cool at the start but warmed up nicely except for very strong South winds. I saw one 8 point buck early on but there were tons of riders and hikers today so no more deer after a 1/2 hour.

Trail conditions pretty much perfect. I started off on the lower East loop (Blue trail) then the full monty on the West loop trails, finished with an extra lap on the lower Green trail. I have never seen PDW this busy, with 12 other riders and dozens of hikers, including a group of about 30 that I saw twice.

I brought some lunch and ate it over at Shoe Factory Woods, which was also very crowded.
