Magnificent day! Pretty much flawless. Sunny, no real wind going out until a couple miles from the coast. Took the sprint - see my YouTube link for full ride Gear 360 footage. To be uploaded in the next day or so. Photo shoot for the Dragon 🐉 by HB pier. Met a Velomobile owner - rider at the pier. I was telling him about a 2 wheeled recumbent rider I’d chased on other beach rides only to finds out he has E-Assist! Just then he roles up! Had to abandon palms to go to Balboa Peninsula due to spending time with the Velomobile guy. Power dropped on the way back as a stiff head wind. Caught and dropped a few roadies outbound and inbound. Had some try to catchxh me from behind but I just let them get within almost catching me range then would step up a few mph and create another half miles or less as over them. I did this over and over until they broke at Yorba Regional Park. Solo from there to downtown Riverside. Slipped into my long sleeves and tights. Ben loaned me me his gloves.
