Last week I stumbled by accident onto a group that do the Litchfield Park loop on Tuesday late afternoon - early evening. John, a WCV rider was there and we chatted. So this week I tried to again stumble into them. Turns out they did not start until much later than I expected, so I did 30.5 miles of loops by myself before, on my last loop, I was heading W on Wigwam toward center of LP at mile 30.5 and saw 4-6 cyclists cross ahead of me going N on Old Litchfield Rd. The chase began! I finally caught them and we did 3 loops together! Great pace! I followed along for the first 2 loops then took the lead on the 3rd group loop around mile 40.2. Turns out they quit after that loop. I did 1 more modified loop of my own to get to 50 miles.
