Mike and I rode this as a test of eBrevet, since I had just got that setup with randonneuring.org. Pretty cool. It was a chilly day with temp of 50F and cloudy most of the time, but no rain. Some moisture on the roads made me wish I had my seat pack attached! At the last minute, I texted Mike and he agreed to go with me! Fun. We rode together the whole time. He had a couple instances of his front tire not sealing against the rim so he would lose air and sealant. So we stopped and he used CO2 to pump it. I had a flat just leaving Sears Kay Ruin, to my front tire. As I was getting ready this AM for the ride, I noticed my front tire was very low. So I replaced it with another patched tube. So that was 2 patched tubes that went low on air! Interesting. In both cases, I never found any thorn or reason for the puncture. I will have water test the old tubes. Had a bit of wind in 2nd half as we were westbound on Carefree Hwy and then on Dove Pkwy/Sonoran Desert Drive.
