First ride of my 1st perm, Sun City -SVP! Cold day. Noticed a few tweaks that I would enter into the route: 1) Turn L instead of going straigt from Bethany to Dysart 2) Use Sidewalk on Bell Rd 3) Maybe turn into the neighborhood on N side of Bell as soon as cross the bridge, then can turn back to main route. 4) on the return, so NOT have to do all the way east to Cotton. Turn S before that to avoid traffic It turned out to be a bit windy on return from SVP Shell station! Yes that helped me in getting to the Shell so much that the outbound speed was faster than the return / downhill speed! LOL I tried to play a game to see if I could do the whole ride without eating. Made it to mile 52. In reality I should have eaten way earlier. Fun ride, yet it seemed like it took a long time to get to the 1st control.
