I got out late today. The weather was warm, in the upper 80's. Fortunately there was a bit of haze in the sky, so I wasn't being baked from clear skies and scorching sun. My legs felt good, not great, but solid through out the entire ride. Being the hot day that today was, I did average tempo from start to finish. I had a slight dig on the monument and over the summit. I was exhausted by the top of the summit. I had, pretty much, only one ailment. My right hand was a little numb. Like usual, I shook it every few minutes. That did the trick. My concentration was pretty good. I had tunnel vision on part of the ride as I was being slightly punished by the heat. I was working mostly on balance today. I seemed to have lost a bit of it, so I'm going to concentrate on that for the next few rides. My gear is working great, no complaints there. Other notes, there were still train carts in the canyon, yet to be salvaged.
