Miami-Dade County to Deerfield Beach

Day 3

No mishaps today. No rain, though that made it quite warm. Unless you count me dropping a water bottle on the fly and having to go back for it... 1st ice cream of the ride on the beach. Great 5 star accommodations from Chris's cousin in Deerfield Beach. Found a second quarter which will help defray the cost of this adventure.

Northward still tomorrow.

Bike Shop: Bike Science Pompano Beach (Chris finds good bike shorts)

Breakfast: Hampton Inn
Lunch: Subway Hollywood Beach Theater stage. Ben and Jerry's Ice Cream, Dahan Food Market resupply. great weather, public restrooms near.
Hotel: Chris's Cousin Lisa. Chris snagged the guest room, couch for me. Good dip in the pool!
Dinner: out on the beach with hosts, very good Sea Breeze, fish dip with bread. Patio Bar & Grill at the Wyndham beach resort?

    Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.

  • TCX History

    Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.

  • GPX Track (.gpx)

    Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.
