Day 5 Shorter day today. Perfect weather but good strong headwind on top of several good days made for a shorter day. Condo owner out washing his car let us refill water bottles from his hose. Jetty Park was a good rest stop. Met some other bike enthusiasts good conversation, and a good water stop. Navy Seal Museum at Fort Pierce Shores. Cumberland Farms as we came onto the island at Fort Pierce Shores. A lack of lodgings choices north of here for a ways on this barrier island made for a shorter day to bring other days into range. Not quite to Cocoa Beach or Cape Canaveral. Tomorrow for sure. AND the launch is delayed till Thursday so we might be better able to see it. Beachfront hotel has a very nice beach. No real issues today, a bit of construction and a short detour was all. Valentines Day! Chris picked up some valentines cards for Joanne and Julia somewhere along the way. I had stamps in my wallet, so no stop at the post office for stamps!
