Rode this RUSA permanent route (#4411) today to complete the riding of the three South Jersey URR permanents in honor of Black History month. I rode them in ascending order of distance, so this one, a blending of the other two, was the longest. Trying to get into better riding condition, I felt that this one was not harder than the others. Drinking Ensure en route may have helped - the thighs didn't complain much. It was chilly to start, with feels-like temps 23-40F, winds ~N at 5-7mph. As cold as it was, I saw a weeping willow across a farm field in the distance with a golden glow, getting ready to pop for Spring, I guess. A good day to ride, with the Presidents' Day holiday, meaning no school traffic and reduced other traffic. Maybe just a few people heading for the sales at the mattress stores and the car dealers. Lost my cue sheet out of my vest's back pocket. Didn't really need it, but hate to think I littered. The bridge is still out on Swedesboro - Paulsboro Road, so I got about 1.5 "bonus miles" by taking the detour. One of my NJ Green Acres pee spots was occupied (!), but I found a new spot nearby, and everything came out all right. Solo, on the Spesh Roubaix.
