The weather continues to be ideal. In the low/mid 70's, winds were turbulent. I wasn't sure what routes I was going to take today. I decided to head out to WS and figure out where to go next. The wind was headed West when I was on my way out to WS. So, I was telling myself that the return trip would be 50% faster than the outbound. I think the lesser of things was the sensation of balance. My right leg felt like it wasn't square on the pedals. They did, however, feel lively today. The return trip went fast, just as I thought. After reaching the summit of Highline, I decided to climb Banducci. I calculated my effort quite well. After reaching the summit of Banducci, I assessed my provisions and decided what to do next. I was tempted to go down the valley, but that meant i was going to run out of Cytomax and would have to feed and drink water for the remainder of the ride. I ended up turning around. Half way down Banducci, I was feeling a bit guilty. I could have done the additional route, but it would have been close. I decided to add WTR summit instead. My legs were starting to feel a bit heavy towards the end, yet still lively that I wasn't being hindered. My concentration felt good. Very little coaching today. I was in that butter zone today. Ailments consisted of right hand numbness and general fatigue from the effort. Gear is working well. Other notes, I saw a couple on a tandem and a glider near WS.
