Estimated Time shows a prediction of how long it would take you to ride a given route. This number is based on your recent riding history, and represents an estimate of moving time. Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.

It's getting warmer. In the low 80's, clear skies, somewhat humid. I wore the standard kit + 1 base layer + arm coolers. Today was one of the those days that I wasn't 100% sure where I was going to ride. I knew I wanted to do Keene n Back. So, I headed towards Keene. I took my time on the outbound. I think I made it to the base in about average time. I wasn't sure how I was going to feel on the ascent. After the turn-around, I headed back up. The heat was noticeable, especially that I had a tailwind. Fortunately, the climb has reprieves, so it wasn't entirely uncomfortable. While climbing, I was trying to read my body, to see if I would have enough to add more to the ride. I felt good. My legs were there, as was my concentration. I was ticking over the pedals and the miles went fairly quick. I put in a modest dig over the summit. Immediately after summiting, I knew I had enough in me to add Banducci. That's what I did. When I got to OTR, my legs felt a bit heavy, but they seemed to remain resilient towards the mileage I was putting in. Banducci felt good. The wall was over before I knew it and I had enough gears to keep the tempo lively. This was the case for the remainder of the ascent. After summiting, I took a couple minutes to recoup, and then headed back home. Balance and form felt good. Yet, still leaning on the return false flat on Banducci. Ailments consisted of soreness in the upper left quad, some right hand numbness, some crotch pains on the latter half of the ride. All of which feels better now. Gear is working well. Other notes, no other cyclists today. :(
