Day 15 Yesterday and today were very much the yin and yang of riding, in that order. Today was very nice. Great weather. Good roads. Fairly devoid of "services" though, not being state highways. But the traffic and shoulder conditions were way better. Shortish distance. At the end of it was a very nice woman (Susan) with very good hotel room in the Edisto Motel in Jacksonboro. Quick stop at the Circle K before the hotel to get a pint of Ice Cream. Cash for the Hotel. No breakfast, though the room etc were more than acceptable. We passed the Marine Air Station on the way out of Beaufort, on the remainder of the Spanish Moss Trail. Onward to at least the far side of Charleston if not beyond TBD on weather/lodging spacing...
