Day 12 Great start at Waffle House for breakfast. Shortish day today, to achieve usable spacing between lodging choices to get to Savannah Thursday evening. Still, challenging though. Out of the gate a huge bridge spans the Saint Simons Sound into Brunswick. 20 ish miles of road construction narrowed State highway 17 to two lanes with no shoulder. There are logging trucks going 65 mph on state route 17. Yikes! There really is no other usable route though through to Savannah. Had to be done. Bike Shop: Breakfast: Waffle House Lunch: Hotel: Country Inn proved useless. Motel 6 had computer issues and could not process us in. Across the street at Econo Lodge being renovated, not on Google maps, they were able to book us. Dinner: Chen's Express rode to drive-in only take out.
