Stopped at Fairgrounds in Franklin. They only allowed RV camping to went south a few miles off route to a motel and campgrounds. It was not ok. looked like a druggy place. All the motel rooms and RV places were occupied by permanent occupants. Left and went south to Edinburg. There was CG off route to the west but I had in my mind that it was gravel road which I didn't want to I continued to Edinburg. A sheriff deputy stopped to ask if I was ok. (I was just resting on the side of road) . I told him I needed a place to camp and he took me to the town RV park, but they didn't allow tent camping either. He then offered to let me put the tent up on his property on the river which I accepted. It was a pretty poor part of town too but I figured if the deputy put me there I was safe.
