A nice ride from Edinburg east across miles of farmland but on very good farm roads. Much better than the day of farm road riding in Illinois. I stopped in Greensburg at Malaysian restaurant for lunch. Greensburg is a Honda factory town. They make 1000 Honda Civics a day. Took a long lunch waiting for rain to pass. It didn't but when it lightened a bit I took off. As I rode it became more heavy. I stopped under a train overpass for a while. It didn't let up so just continued. As I passed the New Point Christian Church I was praying for wisdom as I rode and saw the van parked at the front door. I stopped to ask if I could put my tent in the yard. When he found out I was a retired minister he offered to put me in the youth room on the couch. The VBS workers arrived to work on setup for next weeks VBS so I helped with VBS prep. Fred told me to stop at the local cafe in the morning for breakfast and he bought me b-fast.
