Best format for turn-by-turn directions on modern Garmin Edge Devices
Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.
Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.

Went for another ride with Rob today. The weather was in the mid to upper 80's, but comfortable. We cruised it to the end of OTR. Stopped by the Mule field. The mule wasn't very cooperative. After OTR, I upped the pace a bit and kept good tempo to the top of Banducci. As normal, I had a good headwind on the way to SS. Ailments, my calf muscles started to cramp more today than any other day. I lowered the seat to see if that would help my right calf. It didn't, so I'm going to move it back up (by 1/4 inch). Balance wasn't great, but given my ailments, that's to be understood. Gear worked great today. I consumed my bail-out bar, at the top of Banducci, and the top of SS. The return trip was mostly moderate tempo and mitigating the cramping by stretching often. Today was not a good day for ailments. Other notes, I saw some turkey vultures, a red tail hawk, a deer, and some cows.
