Went for a solo ride today. The weather was great. Nice wind from the north. Today was the first day I rode the bike with the saddle height moved up since the previous ride out to SS. It seems to work a lot better! I had almost no ailments in my calf muscles, or any other part of my body. Even, the hands weren't numb, but I don't attribute that to my returned position on the saddle height. My concentration was mostly good, but some points of loss of focus. I did average time on the way out, and gave a bit of a kick over banducci and the top of SS. I forgot to drink some water/Gatorade before the ride. As a concequence, I knew that I was come close to bonking. Fortunately, I brought my bail-out bar. I had half at the top of Banducci, and the other half at SS. My balance felt a little better today, a little bit of leaning on some points. I upped the tempo as I turned left on Pelliser. I made it to Boss Hogs in over 1:20 hrs. I kept the good tempo to the top of the last ascent. No kicker over the top. The rest was mostly fun on the descent all the way back. Other notes, I brought my new Smart Phone. Still debating if it's worth keeping. I took some photos at SS. They look average at best, but what is to be expected of a fixed lens camera. There were some calves on the SS ascent. I didn't notice any animals at the mini-farm, perhaps I was to far away to notice??
