Campton Hills-Sycamore Great Western Trail Fat Bike Ride 3-27-24

Trek Farley 9.6. Partly cloudy, more sunny towards the end of the ride, temps in the mid to high 30's, brisk Westerly winds @ 15-16 mph. Not so bad conditions but first 5 miles into the wind and uphill were tough. Unusual start in Campton Hills (Wasco), rode out past County Line Rd to near the trail end.

Ride back with the tailwind was pleasant and fast. Trail conditions were fairly dry with little surface issues. I'm still amazed at how great the Farley is for flat trail riding. Not a hard ride for me as I had a Covid shot yesterday and I wasn't feeling 100%.

Leg1 - Wasco to Sycamore: 12.6 miles, 1:15:34, 10.0 mph
Leg 2 - Sycamore to Wasco: 12.6 miles, :58:24, 13.0 mph
